By using simple to challenging exercises, a patient can be guided through a therapy in a specific and targeted manner, utilizing the motivational power of a computer. This turns often tedious exercises into an exciting and positive experience, with positive effects on the course of therapy.

For children and adults

The exercises were designed for both children and adults. Children play and practice with the dolphin in different scenes. Neutral scenes were created especially for older patients to avoid the feeling of infantilization.

Customized for therapy

The TheraVox voice and speech exercises are divided into six groups, which allow for customized and gradual application within and from group to group, from simple exercises with volume/sound to complex exercises with four different sounds or syllable and word exercises:

voice onset
coarticulation

Use of application

Use of application include voice and speech therapy for dyslalia, voice disorders, dysarthria and stuttering, as well as in the support of hearing-impaired children and adults. Feedback for disorders of the phonetic structure/speech motor function (aphasia of speech) in patients with aphasia, contrasting a target sound with the replacement sound, consolidation of new sounds, multi-stage Parkinson's speech therapy, sigmatism/lisping.

Internationally recognized system

lingWAVES TheraVox is successfully used by many speech therapists around the world because the system is built on a multilingual basis and offers training options that are largely independent of the national language.

Various exercises can be performed:

Coarticulation

TheraVox is the only program of its kind to offer coarticulatory exercises, which means that individual sounds can be practiced in a phonetic context, i.e. in syllables or words. This means that consonants (e.g. [s] in sigmatism or plosives) can now be trained more effectively. A single sound in a phonetic context or a minimal pair can be freely defined and used.

High-quality USB microphone included

lingWAVES TheraVox is supplied with a high-quality USB microphone for easy plug-and-play operation. If lingWAVES TheraVox is ordered in conjunction with a Voice Suite, the sound level meter can be used in the same way.
