The lingWAVES SLP Suite Pro VPR is one of the most commonly used application in speech therapy. It has Biofeedback, Voice Protocol, Vospector, Motor Speech Disorder Assesment and more to allow comprehensive measurements and representations of the voice. Numerous standard data (voice protocol) enable easy assessment of the voice in relation to pathological characteristics. Particularly noteworthy are simple color-coded displays and recordings of therapy courses, which are also easy for patients to understand.

TheraVox is an extraordinary and lovingly designed program that visualizes voice and speech characteristics such as voice/voiceless, volume, articulation/coarticulation and prosody in real time. The patient thus receives visual biofeedback of his voice/speech as a crucial contribution to self-perception and motivation in therapy. For adults and children.

The lingWAVES Voice Clinic Suite Pro is the most comprehensive system for the best possible use for ENT and especially phoniatrics. The suite contains all modules such as phonetogram, voice disorder index (VHI), dysphonia severity index (DSI), recording of the diadochokinetic rate (MSDA), and much more, and thus offers a wide range of possible uses in the field of diagnostics and therapy, from a quick, simple assessment of the voice to long-term stress tests. The integrated interfaces enable an automated exchange of patient data with existing clinic systems for efficient work.

Nasality determines the nasal balance. This is the degree of velopharyngeal opening during voiced speech. It is defined as the ratio of the acoustic energy at the nasal openings (nostrils) to the energy at the mouth. The session can be displayed either as biofeedback or with measured values.

COOPERATION PARTNER
Since December 2017, the Division for Phoniatrics and Pediatric Audiology is led by Prof. Anne Schützenberger (MD) and Prof. Michael Döllinger (PhD). Main research area, since the 1990 years, of the division is laryngeal high-speed videoendoscopy (HSV). The division is, besides other research groups, the world-wide leading group in HSE research. They have developed own research software for image segmentation and machine learning based quantitative assessment tools for quantifying vocal fold vibrations being recorded by HSV. In a jointly project with WEVOSYS GmbH, supported by BMWi (2018 – 2021) a first clinical usable HSV software was developed to process HSV data. Basis was a machine learning based (i.e. neuronal networks) fully automated image processing algorithm being developed by the division. Goal of the research is to ultimately replace videostroboscopy by HSV imaging in combination with an AI based clinical usable analysis software. In this context, they continuously publish their work in international, high-ranking journals, present their work at international scientific conferences and closely cooperate with international renowned universities.
